Episode Review: Season 2 Episode 12: Family Appreciation Day
Yes I’ve been gone a while without doing any reviews for a while but I’m back again and rather then go back and review every new episode I’ve missed I’d rather just begin again with this week’s episode.
There are two main reasons why I loved this week’s episode:
1. An over abundance of adorable Apple Bloom
2. Terrific character and history development of Granny Smith and of Ponyville
Watching through the episode I was impressed by the quality of writing of the portrayal of Granny Smith as she was transformed into a proper character rather than just a supporting/background character. Personally I love it when the characters we usually take for granted shine brightly shadowing the ‘main’ cast, even if it’s for the one episode.
Overall, I think this episode was a great episode about the importance of our family with plenty of cute Apple Bloom and hilarious Granny Smith.
Also guys, I’m loving all the fan content that this episode is generating. Keep it coming!
